The 2nd Annual Western
Canadian Paddlesports Leadership Conference is taking place May 2nd through the 4th, 2008 at Camp Columbia on Thetis Island, British
Columbia. Workshops, seminars, and panel
discussions led by industry leaders and peers provide up to date techniques,
knowledge, and information for paddlesports professionals.
"This is a non
denominational event", says Michael Pardy, Director of the WCPLC. "We are
bringing together folks from a variety of backgrounds with a range of skills to
foster the exchange of ideas and skills.
The goal is to continue to strengthen the quality of on water
programming for all our clients, from club members, to youth in school
programs, and adults on guided trips."
